Designed especially for the “Pastors Wife” & wives of ministers (Leading Ladies). This community was created in response to the dire need for connection with other women like me (First Ladies). It is designed to help us to connect, learn, and grow together.
The First Lady’s Hat is something that we all wear yet it is unique to each of us. In my journey, I found that NO ONE was able to teach me how to be the first lady that I needed to be… no matter how good they were! I had to find my hat myself, but you don’t, I know where you are because I have walked thousands of miles in your shoes, & I will walk with you!

When I started my journey I had no idea that I would be a “First Lady” or that my husband would be “The Pastor”. I had so many grand ideas about what my life would become! I knew since a little girl I would own my own business, I knew that I would drive a nice little sports car. I knew that I would move out of California. I knew that I would live in a top floor apartment with beautiful views of the city. Fast forward to today… my life is a very different picture. I am married with children which I completely love & adore my family, but my occupation is not exactly as I envisioned.
YOU: What occupation is that?
ME: I am the First Lady
YOU: Well you don’t look like Melania Trump, Michelle Obama, Barbara Bush, Hillary Clinton or any of the president’s wives so… what exactly do you mean by “the first lady”?
ME: I was hoping you could tell me!
Seriously, when you try to explain it, it’s hard! we don’t get a job description or training manual. There is no supervised on the job training.
Starting out I tried to find someone to guide me through my transition much to no avail. So many first ladies were in my same shoes, some were angry and bitter, others did not have the right answers for me, and still others just distanced themselves from the title. Not only was there no training, there was no support system either.
Through my first four years, I cried so many tears because of frustration, loneliness, hurt, and longing but in that pain, the First Lady’s Hat was born (2008). I determined that I would create and give what I did not have and could not find. I help women married to The Pastor” find definition in their widely undefined position as a “First Lady”. As we walk together you will learn how to lead using your inherent character set to move from a position of objectification to the personification of all that is uniquely you! I am here to walk with you

The First Lady’s Hat is an extension of Spirit Filled International Alliance. Participating in the Alliance and it’s events will present you with unique opportunities to network with like-minded First Ladies whether locally or worldwide.

“Becoming First Lady” is our premier masterclass designed for the ” Pastor’s Wife”. It will prepare you for your role as “First Lady!” We acknowledge that your journey is individual and your hat is unique and we are prepared to help you define & establish the role that is uniquely yours.
